a database, what is the best way to go?
a. A function that returns a connection string to each class, and lets them
do their own data access.
b. A function that returns an open SqlConnection.
c. A function that returns a SqlDataReader, after passing it a sproc and
parameters.

The Message object doesn't store the raw message data. Message.as_string "rebuild" the whole message, for example it may gives:

Good morning at all,
i have to implement a server,that every n-seconds (eg. 10sec) sends to
other clients,which files and directory has been deleted or modified.
i build a n-tree, for each files on harddisk there's a node into n-
tree,
this solution is not good for large hard disk..
and i can't use inotify (it's forbidden),
and only c solutions are accepted
without third party software or external calls.

Sometimes declarations are all what we need when we define/declare
classes (or functions?), but sometimes we need definitions. I learned
that if we define a class (B) that has an object (a_obj) of a class
type (A), then we need to define A as well, but if B has a pointer to
A, then we only need to forward declare A. I was told this is because
the compiler needs to see the implemenation of A when allocating
memory for a_obj. ...
