Your guess is wrong.
ASP is serverside code,
and there is nothing serverside in yours.
Please go to a clientside javascript NG.
[btw, Everything NOT fine in XP and 2000]

I have a large form that is generated dynamically in a jsp using xml / xslt. So, to
break up this form into several "tabbed" sections, I break up the form using <div>
tags. Each <div style="display:none"> can be displayed by setting the style attribute
to "display:", or hidden with "display:none". This gives the illusion that the person
filling out the form is switching from page to page...without the overhead of extra
hits on the server,...

Hello Gurus:
I have a validation script (below) that is somehow messed up. If the
Name field is blank, I get the alert message, then the browser window
goes to a blank document with the word "false" on it. What the ?!?!?!
To test, I commented out the 'return false;' code in the second IF
block, so now if there is a value in Name then I get the alert message
for Email and the page stays put.

For some reason the HTML that is being created by my ASP.Net pages
(2.0) have a table like this:
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="z-index: 103;
left: 0px; width: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0px;" id="TABLE1"
onclick="return TABLE1_onclick()">
This ends up causing a javascript error "Object excpected" when you
click on the page because there is no TABLE1_onclick() function. Why
is it doing this and what can...

FAQ Topic - I have <a href="javascript:somefunction()"what ... ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whatever the rest of your question, this is generally a very bad
use of the javascript pseudo protocol. It was designed so that a
function could return a new page. For example:
`` javascript:"<p>Hello</p>" ''.
Using it simply to...

Hi,
Normally, a piece of code such as
<a href="http://www.yahoo.com" onclick="alert('hello');return
false;">link</a>
will stop the browser from actually going to href's destination.
However, this is not the case with the IE7 I am using. What has
changed?

On page 392 of "Javascript the definitive guide" a function is called
like this:-
<form action="processform.cgi" onsubmit="return validateForm();">
Why, in this instance, is the return statement used in calling the
function validateForm rather than being included inside the function?
Thanks in advance,

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
