OutputDebugStri ng not working for COM object called from ASP

Hello,

I'm on Win2K3.

I'm trying to capture OutputDebugStri ng output made by a COM object used
from an ASP page but I don't get it.

This appears to be due to debug output being generated from the system
account before the output capture utility is run. This is described at the
end of this posting:

However, maybe I missed something but I tried disabling the "World Wide Web
Publishing Service". Restarted my machine and once it was up ran DbgView
and then started the service and but I still didn't get output.

I'm real new to VB and ASP. Is IIS the same as the "World Wide Web
Publishing Service"? If not, what service do I disable to prevent IIS from
starting.

Alternativly, is there a simple way to deal with this situation?

Hello Grant,

I think you may try to stop the service in IIS manager, for example, right
click the "default web site" and select Stop and Start.

Also, on Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6, we can set a application pool for
an ASP application, and set the application Pool running under a specified
account, you may try set the application running under System account to
see if it will help.
