We're running a fairly busy and complex e-commerce website. It's an
online retailer. We utilize MySQL for most of our site-based dynamic

We are thinking of starting to use clustering with our DB2 V8. I
understand that with clustering when a node goes down that the other
nodes will keep the database up for the users. What I would like to
know is does this include if the node has a hard drive crash and the
disks are not salvagable or just if the machine looses connection?

Since DB2 Cluster Certification Guide is out of print and I cannot seem
to get my hands on a copy, is there a publication that would give me a
"cookbook" approach to setting up a cluster using Linux and multiple
machines?
I came across a couple of things, but they all assume one honking great
AIX box with multiple SPs and that sort of thing.

I am running two servers with a hardware network load balancing device. I
know that to share session information between the two servers I need to
implement some type of SQL based session information, but I would simply
like to share the SessionID. Mainly for some logging applications.
The SessionID does currently seem to be shared between the two servers and I
haven't changed anything with my configuration or implemented anything...

Hi,
Does anybody know of a software package that allows for several
servers, running asp.net 2.0 to be clustered, regardless of where they
are located (ie. without a hardware load balancer). This way one could
link two or more dedicated servers, perhaps even running on different
hosts. Does something like this exist?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
