Hi,
I have downloaded some image files by connecting to a URL and I am
trying open that image file using BrowserLauncher.
I am using windows xp and the default one to open image files is
windows picture and Fax Viewer.
I could not see the image in Internet Explorer when I am trying to
open the image files. But when I set in the properties of image files
from "windows picture and Fax Viewer" to "Open with internet
Explorer", I could see...

Hi, i'm relatively new to C++ from java and am having a difficult time
with pointers. I'm sure there is something simple that I am doing
wrong, but I can't seem to write this in a way that doesn't give me the
error "Unable to write to memmory." This is a static function that
receives a string that is the name of a file and an ifstream pointer.
It then concatenates the path string using the string.h function
strcat(char *, const char *) and...

Hello,
I am trying to open a window containing an image and I would like
the image to be flush against the window -- i.e. have no padding or
border. Can I make this happen with a single call to a window.open
function? I would prefer not to create a separate HTML page. So far
all I have is the basic
var cwin = window.open('images/KJV-THANKS.gif',
'Thanks', 'width=243,height=420,');
cwin.focus();

I use access 2002 with windows XP. I don't think that I encountered the same
problem with Windows 2000
The following opens an image (code from Lebans)
fLoadPicture Me.JGSForm.Form.Image1, "e:\pictures\test.jpg"
if I specify the path and file name as above then the picture opens
My problem: If I specify it as follows
fLoadPicture Me.JGSForm.Form.Image1, IPath & Me!StCode & ".jpg"
then the picture opens but windows explorer also opens...

Hi all,
This might be one of those things for which there is no workaround. I'm
using A2K2, and using it to perform a very large batch ouput. Both the front
and back ends are MDB files, so no SQL Server involved here. Both SP3 and
Jet SP8 have been updated, and the platform is running on a dual-processor
3Ghz Xeon Win2K3 Server box with 2GB RAM.
The batch run outputs 6 or 7 reports to approximately 16-17,000 snapshot
files None of the...

Hello All,
I have some pictureboxes on a VB.NET form that are linked to an AccessDB. If
the user wishes to open or edit an image, I need to save the image in the
picturebox to a temp file, then open that file in whatever viewer/editor is
the default for the users system. I tried to do
picturebox1.image.save(filename), which results in "A Generic error occured
in GDI+".
However, if I use an unbound picturebox, do a

In my not too successful attempts to get an OLE chart object (Graph
11.0) that has been manipulated on a form to be reproduced on a report,
I am considering the following procedure. First copy the graph area to
the clip board (easy enough using Me.OleGraphControl.ChartArea.Copy).
Next open an instance of MS Paint, paste the clipboard into the file and
save as something like "Picture.bmp" in the same directory as the FE
Access app. A...

Hey guys,
I have created many picture files using gd_library, I recently decided to rename all of my pictures files on my web server to text instead of just numbers.

I am recently receiving a wierd error when I open up some of the picture files. Here is the name of the picture: productsssh.jpg.
I get the following error only when i open up that picture via the web:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
