How to lock the tables, query & Forms

7 New Member
Hi,

Can you help me how to lock the tables, query, and forms in access 2010?

Just only the users can see the table, query and forms?

Please suggest.

It is impossible to "lock" Access in that way. The best way is to create an ACCBE file that your users have access to, and hide the navigation bar. This will give them access to what you want them to have access to. I do not ever recommend allowing users to directly access your tables and queries. I only allow my users access to forms and reports. The user should never have direct ability to mess up your data......

Thanks for your suggesion.

I will try to hide those tables and lock with snapshot option method.

Thanks again for your reply.

In another thread, somebody ventured the idea that this was possible under A2k's ADP but they did not sound sure of it. Anybody done it? My agenda is to use DAO for work tables bound to forms.
