How to update linked child in subform when master field has changed?

1 New Member
I am new to this. I have a master form with OrderID and ScaffoldID linked to a Child form for data entry. Child form has product information in each record. I have a need for users to be able to change OrderID and ScaffoldID when editing the order. I want to udpade OrderID and ScaffoldID in child form without changing any product information already entered. I got stuck on this. Please help.

Firstly, it is unusual to have more than one child link on a subform and it can cause problems. Secondly, if you link on these ID's then you can't change them in the subform. I think your problem has more to do with the structure of your tables and their relationships.
