Help in sql

Nitin

I have two tables in sql One has foreign key relationship with other
table

On running a query i found the result as follows

catname subcatname

Windows Hosting Control Panel
Windows Hosting FTP
Windows Hosting Mail
Windows Hosting Database
Windows Hosting Web Stats
Linux Hosting Plesk
Linux Hosting cPanel

I need a result set in such a way that

there should have as follows

catname subcatname

Windows Hosting Control Panel
FTP
Mail
Database
Web Stats
Linux Hosting Plesk
cPanel

It may be better to do this kind of display formatting on the client.

Actaully I am working on postgre database, as per your response i
could be able to write a query in postgre database

If i need a modified output as follows then how should i change the
query

My result along with inner join as follows
