Can anyone tell me how to open Microsoft Access db then use a individual

Larry answered your question in your previous post. Does Arcview have a way
to "zoom to coordinates" when you open Arcview from a command line? If so,
then you can use the "Shell" function within Access. Read the help file, or
search Google Groups, to learn how to use this function.
After searching the developer's web site for Arcview it looks like the
product has an object model. Larry's second suggestion mentions using its
object model through Automation. Have a look at the developer's web site,
register yourself and then get all the details about Arcview's object model.
The web site I looked at was very informative and had a section for
developer. I'd advise for you to have a very good look there.
Remember that this is an Access technical newsgroup and you've asked a
question about a very specialised part in a very specialised program. That
is why you didn't get any responses to your original post. I'd never heard
of Arcview until you'd made your postings here.
