XP SP2 Screen Updating Problems

Since installing Windows XP SP2 Access 2003 report design view has a
long lag time between when an object is selected with the mouse and
when it responds to movement actions. There is a noticeable delay of
several seconds (which is driving me nuts) when doing just about
anything in report design mode. Once SP2 is removed the problem goes
away but I can't run SQLServer without first having Service Pack 2 so I
need to figure out a workaround. Thanx in advance for ideas.

Let's say I have an html form with 20 or 30 fields in it. The form submits the fields via POST to a php page which updates a table in a database with the $_POST vars. Which makes more sense? 1) simply UPDATING the values for all fields in the table, whether or not any particular field has actually changed 2) running a second SELECT...

I am filling a richtextbox via the AppendText method and it works great. However, I would like to to off screen updating, add my 50 or so lines to the richtextbox, and then turn screen updating back on. How do I do this? SuspendLayout does not do this. Thanks. -- Dave B.

I'm working a jewelry/rosary design web site at http://www.rosaryshop.com/rosariesAndKits2.php. As the user makes selections, it updates images of various parts, giving them a preview of the finished item. The preview resides within a div and is simply a series of <br>-separated images. Simple html. The system is working fine with FireFox and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
