Hi All!
Is there a way to reference a window by name without doing something like
this:
open (, 'windowName');
The open method will open a blank window if there is no window with such a
name.

How can I change the size of the forms in my Windows application when the
screen resolution the user has is higher than the one I developed the
application in? I have a customer that has a screen resolution of 1600x1200
and I developed the application in a PC with 1024x768 resolution. Is it
possible to increase the forms' sizes accordingly?

I have a strange bug in C# using windows forms. To make sure it's not some
bug with my code, I've gone back to a simple test app, and still see the
same behavior.
I have created a simple C# Windows MDI Application, as in MSDN, ie :
1) Create Windows Application (Form1), set IsMDIContainer to true
2) Create MainMenu component in the form, with top level '&File', submenu
'&New' and '&Close', and another top level '&Window' with MDIList...

Hi,
How can we run the app on full-screen. I mean all the controls such as,
text boxes, data grids on the form would also be resized or re-located
automatically when we press maximize button on the top right corner
of the form.
Currently, when I maximize the form.. controls on the form are not
relocating.
How can we do this..

I am trying to write my first Windows application using VB.NET and I
am having some difficulties designing the UI.
Basically its one Windows Form with 4 menus on the top (no drop
downs). When you click on any of the menu the UI changes. For instance
clicking on the first menu shows a bunch of textboxes allowing the

Let's say I have an MDI parent form with a textbox. If I create an MDI
child form and, at runtime, move the MDI child window over the textbox on
the MDI parent, the textbox appears in front of the MDI child window.
How can I make the MDI child window appear in front of any controls that may
be on the MDI parent?

Hi,
I have a form that when opened in the designer appears of the screen. The
form selector can't be dragged (or resized) and if I scroll right and down
to centralise it the form simply jumps further away, completely leaving the
selector box area.
