Shared network database

In access 97 two guys could modify two diferents forms in a shared
network located database simoultaneously. Somebody knows why that is
not possible in access 2000? Or better, somebody knows how to do it in
access 2000?

I will really appreciate your answer.

No, it is not possible. It is due to a change in the design of Access --
exclusive use is now required to modify the design.
