+ Which version of Office/Access are you using (ie Access-2013-32bit installation).

+ Have you downloaded and installed the latest service-pack? Some of the wizards were broken in one version.... ACC2010-SP1 if I remember that nightmare correctly. There was a MS-Patch out to fix that error at one point... I think that was rolled into SP2?

Essentially, check that your Access installation is both repaired if necessary, as well as up-to-date with all the patches.

It's found that when exporting a table/query to a text file, numbers with decimals will be rounded off to 2 decimals (or 0 decimals sometimes). Is there an explanation or setting for that?

I have added a text file to a C# Web Project. I have placed an oledbconnection string into the text file. I can read the information and place the connection string into a text box which is not visible. When I load the connection string from the text box as follows: string connStr = connectText.Text: and run the program, I get the following error:

On an ASP page I've got some code that is supposed to "export" data in a grid to an Excel file. What I'm doing is writing all the data to a text file, separating the fields by commas. Then I'll redirect the user to a new page with the file that was just created. Code: Dim objFSO, objTextFile Dim sRead, sReadLine, sReadAll Const ForReading = 1, ForWriting = 2, ForAppending = 8

Hi All, I need to let user type some text in a textbox, and user will click a button to submit the material. It is very straightforward if we implement it by single thread. But the submitting costs a lot of time, especially there are some network latency.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
