In Access 2003 I would export a text file, fixed width, advanced

set my specs (start and width) then export. When I viewed my file it was just as I requested. Now Using Access 2010 one of my fields comes across in the text file with a width larger than I requested. I cannot find any info to correct this problem. Can you help me?

I'm trying to rename a shared network file after uploading the data using an import data specification. I tried using NAME oldfilename AS newfilename and got the generic "File not found" message. Tried Filecopy using a DECLARE FUNCTION and it could not locate MSAU200.dll file. Does anyone know how to do this in Access 2003? If you have any code samples, I'd appreciate it.

I have a form and there are some text boxes that show a score depending on what someone picks in the drop down next to that box. I did this part with some coding and therefore, for example if they choose the first option it could be a score of 0.1, if they choose the second option it could be a score of 0.25 and so on. I have the textboxes working correctly and at the bottom there is another text box called BV_Score. I am trying to get BV_Score...

I have created a report that displays the contents of large memo fields. The report must be exported to MS Word (or .rtf) so the type style and type size can be modified according to the final user's preferences. The report doesn't export as expected. When the exported .rtf file is opened in MS Word, the layout appears as it does on the report in MS Access. However, at the end of each line, there is a carriage return. Considering that each...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
