I am very new to Java. How would you go about making Java program that
reads in a fixed length text file and pass the data into a table in an
sql table?

I'm trying to rename a shared network file after uploading the data
using an import data specification.
I tried using NAME oldfilename AS newfilename and got the generic
"File not found" message. Tried Filecopy using a DECLARE FUNCTION and
it could not locate MSAU200.dll file.
Does anyone know how to do this in Access 2003? If you have any code
samples, I'd appreciate it.

does anyone know why is there a character limitation (255) in excel
when i export from the reports object in excel access? if i created a
macro using the transferspreadsheet action from the query with the
field of + 255 characters, it will export all characters. why is there
a character limitation in the reports when exporting to excel?

We have two computers and two programmers. One programmer for Ms Access 2000
and one programmer VB6 pro and applicartion.
Access database is large system and i not will transfer data to MDB
directly, it is second programmer work.
My VB6 program generates ASCII.TXT file, data to Access system.

I have next problem: When I'm traying export data from table from one column formated like longint (21,111,111.00 ) form access 2003 to the xml, number looks diferent (<number>21111111</number>, xml format after exporting). Why format number are changed to the integer and not longinteger ?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
