Hi Guys,
I'm really new to .Net development and need your advise on this.
Recently I've completed a web application using VB.net (Visual Studio .Net
2003). In the application whenever the user clicks the delete button, a
msgbox will appear prompting the user to confirm the deletion via the Yes or
Cancel button.
On my own machine (Win 2k IIS5), the msgbox appears without any issues.

Hi Experts!
I have several forms and reports where controls get their values with
'Forms!MainForm!Control' or 'Forms!MainForm!Subform!Control' resp
'Forms!MainForm!Subform.Form!Control' which works without any problem
in Acc97, 2000 and 2002, but now in Access 2003 there seem to be a
problem with this.
A user is working with my app, and he uses an Access 2002 MDE in an
Access 2003 environment.

I have inherited some databases which were originally created with
Access 2.0 and have gone the conversion route of '95, '97, 2000. I
now need to convert them to work in Access 2003 and with XP. However,
I was left with next to no documentation or security account
information and have been unable to join any of the work- or
usergroups to be able to complete conversion work. There is a guest
account which will run the application but of...

Hi,
I wrote a VBA program to read and process data from an ODBC source and
put it into an Access database. I want to make the program into an MDE
file and run it on systems with Access 2003. So I have to work in
Access 2003 to do this. The problem is that the database that is
created by my program will have to be imported into an application that
only handles Access 97 .mdb file formats. I am wondering if there is
any way to do this....

What's up with the text import wizard in Access 2003? We have a large
text file that needs to be imported. Tried it on Access 2003 and it
just sits there with an hourglass. Tried it on Access 97 and it opened
right up!
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Laura

I have an ASP .NET 2003 application that uses an Access 2003 database.
Trimming my application down to just one page that connects to the database
and uses an OleDbDataReader to get info, then closes the Reader and then the
Connection, I still get the .LDB Record-Locking file staying open on the
server. Does ASP .NET not close it's connection even after the code closes
the connection??
The server is Windows 2003

I need to implement a rich text box in an MDB file for a user base that
consists of Access 2000 and Access 2002. Unfortunately, I'm using Access
2003 on my development machine. My understanding is that because of security
issues, the Microsoft Rich Textbox Control doesn't work in Access 2003.
Thus, I'm left with 3 options:
1) Downgrade my development machine to Access 2002 (if I could even find a
copy somewhere).
2) Upgrade all...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
