Hi,
I understand that the runtime will be free with access 2007.
I wonder about the following scenario:
A user will have the full version of access 2003 installed (or an
earlier version). A developer will offer an acess 2007 application,
and suggest to the user to download and install the runtime for access
2007.
If the user were to do so, will that interfere with her access 2003

Dear All,
I am new to Access and trying my hand on Access 2007.
When I try to create a from using Form Wizard and then selects all fields, all text box remain of same width. If I alter width of any one of them, it changes width of all the text box, even if all of them are not selected.
Can anyone guide ?
TIA
Milan.

hello,
i am having a problem creating a .ACCDE file from an Access
2007 .ACCDB file.
its somewhat large application, about 80 megs. it was originally an
Access 2000 app that somebody else wrote for our user base, which ran
it as a .MDE. i have now converted it Access 2007 .accdb, and am to
use the "Make ACCDE" function off the Database Tools ribbon bar.

I am looking for a quick sanity check, to make sure I my view of a
problem is reasonable.
Our organization just upgraded from Access 2003 to Access 2007. One
of our MS Access databases is not working the way it used to. It is
my understanding that this is a typical upgrade problem with Access
2007.
The database in question has a number of complex forms that talk to
one another. There is a lot of VBA code in the background making it

Hi
Can anybody tell me why the VBA code below works fine in Access 2003
but doesn't work in Access 2007? I do not get any error message, even
if I put a deliberate error into the code. Also, if I put a debug
break point in the code, nothing happens. If I add the line msgbox
"ok" it displays the message box, so I know that it is reading the
code. This is a frightening problem, because if this doesn't display
errors, then what other bits of...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
