Access 2007 - Show Forms in Taskbar Workaround

3 New Member
I've been hunting for a while. Since they've removed the show in taskbar option after 2003 I figure the quick way is out, but, surely there is still a VBA method of getting it done. I've done searches on a few forums, asked some experts, and browsed microsofts database.

Anyone here have any ideas?

How will Access fair in a year? Two years? .... The new version of Access seems to service non programmers as a wizard interface to quickly create databases via a fancy wizard. Furthermore, why would you even continue to use Access as a backend when you have a much superior option in SQL express? What about as a future front-end development tool? Let's get serious. Microsoft continues to publish numerous articles and videos on how you...

If you develop for others, you probably have multiple versions of Access installed so you can edit and create MDEs for clients in different versions. This works fine under Windows XP, even with Access 2007 installed. It does *not* work under Windows Vista Ultimate. After running Access 2007, when you open an earlier version of Access, no code works, because the references are fouled up. And Access 97 does not work at all. Access should...

Hi all, So I bought a new laptop 10 days ago to test my apps with Vista. (home premium) Apparently Office 2007 is pre-installed. (a time limited but complete test version, no SP1) So I take the opportunity to test some new features of Access2007 before actually 'stepping over'. First thing that troubles me of course is 'the ribbon', but my question now is about speed. I opened one of my Access 2000-apps in Access 2007. Speed and...

Hi !! I'm about to develop a new project for a client. Should I go about it in Access 2003 or 2007 ? Purchasing it either for me or for my client is not a major consideration here ... what I'd like to know is the stability, speed & ease of use of both the products. I believe Access 2007 has a new file format too and that it may be slower.

Is there a way in VB.NET to build a Form/Control as easily as Access 2007 does? I built a small name and address application in Access 2007 and I was surprised at what I was able to do without any code. Access Forms allow a Datasheet (GridView) to show by setting a property (I have mine set to Datasheet on Top). Pretty sweet and easy. I am a seasoned programmer (over 20 years) but I am a newbie to VB.NET 2005. Our company brought in some...

I hate to cross post, but I've gotten no answer yet on a problem I'm having with visual studio 2008. I've created a series of forms with controls to access a Access database tables. The connection string works fine and the tables are added to the project without a problem. When I create the tables they appear to bind and I am able to preview the data in the database in design mode; however, at runtime no data is displayed and the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
