I am creating a series of custom reports, whose parameters are
specified through combo boxes in a form, which then generates a custom
report based on a series of calculation queries. My problem is
this...at the top of the report I've inserted several text boxes which
link to the combo boxes on the entry form, and are supposed to show
which parameters a particular report is being generated from. On the
screen, everything looks great and...

When I preview my Access 2000 Report it looks fine. When I Email the
report using
DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "Report", acFormatRTF, "To Address", , ,
"Subject", , False
the resulting attachment to the email consistently does not display all
of the lines it should in one of the GroupFooters. I am using the Print
event in the report to print lines multiple times in a groupfooter
depending on an integer set elsewhere in the VBA...

Hello,
I have a format issue on an Access 2000 ADP report that I am going to
attempt to explain from a 'ten thousand foot view' :
I have an Access 2000 ADP report that has a SQL Server 2000 Stored Procedure
as its record source. The Proc is called MM_rptTeacherGroupingTest_sp. In
order to help communicate the issue I am having with the report, please take
a look at the following:

Hi all.
In A2K i have a report with a control bound to to calculate
the page count for the report. I need to retrieve this page count from
the report, and build it into a TOC containing this an other reports.
All the reports are page-numbered consecutively in the order they are
printed (there are 7 reports in total, with about 60 pages in all).
I am having an issue with one of my reports returning a seemingly
incorrect page count,...

Hi,
I need to timestamp printed records with the printing date. According
to the customer's requests the report must be opened in preview-mode
and the user clicks on the printer button if he really want to have a
hardcopy.
The customer selects the records with a special selection form, where
he can combine up to appr. 20 different criterias, which are combined
to a more or less complex filter string. This string is then written
to the...

Hi,
I am trying to print address labels. I have a form which asks for
the user to input the first name, middle initial, and last name. On
the button click to print the label, I have an event procedure which
is called. The problem seems to be having two different reports in the
same procedure. Basically, I want to check if the user has typed in a
middle initial. If no middle initial is typed in, I want to load the
report with only the...

When I open a certain report, it runs some code that generates the records
that will be displayed in that report. This works fine. When I go to print
preview the report it appears that the code is run again? This is causing
certain error problems.
1 Why does the code run for a print preview when the report already
exists?
2 What command do I use in code to find out if a report (or any other
object for that matter) is already...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
