Hi
I am trying to calculate a running total of a calculated textbox
(tbAtStandard) in GroupFooter1 for placement in a textbox
(tbTotalAtStandard) on my report in Groupfooter0.
The problem that I am having is that sometimes the correct total shows
up in print preview and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it is higher
and sometimes it is lower (than the correct amount) and I cannot make
any sense of the difference. The difference...

I'm summing up time spent on jobs over a week, some of these jobs last
greater than 24 hours and when access sums these up it appears that it
starts again at 00:00 once it gets past 23:59.
Is it possible to display the time taken in hours and mins past the 24 hour
clock? i.e 34:23?

I have data coming from a telephony system that keeps track of when an
employee makes a phone call to conduct a survey and which project number
is being billed for the time the employee spends on that phone call in a
MS SQL Server 2000 database (which I don't own).
The data is being returned to me in a view (see DDL for w_HR_Call_Log
below). I link to this view in MS access through ODBC to create a
linked table. I have my own view in...

Hi,
Not really a programmer here, but have been forced into the role. I was asked to develop a basic time sheet for employees to enter time. I developed the Table without a problem. I then developed a query to limit the records displayed based upon an employee last name and a month. Once again no problem. I then stareted developing the form based on the query. The form has a subform using data sheet display. Form prompts user for...

Hi all,
i seem to have gotten stuck on this coursework, i am unsure as to how to implement a method in the main class to calculate the sum of all employees monthly salaries.
Everything else works on the program it does output the employees details and their monthly salaries. I just need to add them up and output a "Total Payroll: xxxxxx.x " in this format. It sounds simple and it probably is simple, i think i can't see the woods for...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
