In my Windows app, if I'm in a multi-line textbox and I'm writing a postal
address (ie. write ist line and press <Enter>, write 2nd line and press

Hi everybody,
my company has an issue and I have to solve it. I have to create a
multiple users application, its basically a form that stores data on
just one database table.
To make it faster i wanted to use MS Access because they need it really
fast.

Is it true that if I split my access database in backend and frontend and I
implement custom auto increment for the ID fields, that my database is ready
to be used in a multi-user environment? I found a zillion messages about
auto increment and read some of them but it's confusing. Can someone point

in an own thread by the main form of my application. Unfortunately I am
always getting an error in InitializeComponents stating that the
ActiveX-Control 8856f961-340a-11d0-a96b-00c04fd705a2 cannot be initiated
because the current thread isn't a single-thread apartment.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
