want to activate hyperlink, but dont open ...

1 New Member
I dont know much about VBA, but maybe somebody can help me ;)
I have this kind of SUB ..
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Sub kama2()
  2.     Worksheets("kama").Activate
  3.     Range("A51").Select
  4.     Selection.Hyperlinks(1).Follow NewWindow:=False, AddHistory:=True
  5.     Application.WindowState = xlNormal
  6.     Start_Timer
  7. End Sub
... and question ...
I need to activate hyperlink( to IE), but dont open new window. I use WebQuery and if the macro will run an hour, it maybe opens 100 new windows :D
... or how to write, that after opening the new window will close!

I believe that using the followhyperlink method with a workbook object defaults to the open window and does not open a new window:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. ActiveWorkbook.FollowHyperlink "http://www.microsoft.com"
  2.
Hope this helps.

I have a subform in my Access 2002 mdb that holds Hyperlinks to documents (.pdfs) that are associated with each record in the database. The datasheet subform is simply a list of Hyperlinks to previous invoices for each client. The problem is that other workstations on the LAN cannot open the documents (they can connect to the database okay). The workstation on which the database resides (MainPC) opens the documents without a problem,...

Hello! I'm writing about a rather peculiar problem I'm having with Access2000. I have a table in which I have created one hyperlink-type field. I have given the field a default value which is an email-address. The default value is (for example): "mailto:mymail@here.com". Access2000 correctly inserts that information into the field everytime

I'm working with Access 2K and seem to be getting some behavior that contradicts the documentation. First, the help says: "Note The Activate event doesn't occur when a form receives focus back from a dialog box, popup, or another form." This doesn't seem to be the case. The form activate consistently fires when focus moves from another form. Secondly, the activate event for a report. I am seeing it fire consistently

I need to create a datagrid dynamically and add a hyperlink onto one of the columns. So the user sees that columns value and can click on it. But the hyperlink sends a value from another column (which is hidden in the datagrid). Whats the best way to do this?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
