Hello,
ASP does not work locally on my main web site when I
browse the machine locally at the console itself, but to
the outside world all is fine, and ASP executes normally.
I have 4 other virtual webs on this server and I can
browse ASP pages fine, locally. We need this working for a
search engine product that is failing when trying to
execute URLs against this virtual web site, locally.

I link to a web site from an Excel spreadsheet. The page i link to is
getCookie.asp which sets a cookie then returns back some html which opens a
new window, to the same site but a different page (same folder).
The cookie is not received. Can someone explain why?
I worked around this by adding a cache-control header with a value of
no-cache. This fixes the problem. Unfortunately that causes another
problem with Internet Explorer...

Ok, here's a strange one...
I'm using a lot of Followhyperlink code in my MS Access2000
application to launch various websites. All my forms are popup, so
they run outside the MS Access window which I keep shrunk.
When a user launches a website through the Followhyperlink, the
website opens fine. If the user closes the window, Access returns back
in the state it was in before running the followhyperlink code.

I have a wierd problem that I can't find any reference to in the
knowledge base. I develop simple databases at the company where I
work, and many of them are used by hundreds of employees. We all have
the same basic computers with the same base image. The problem is,
whenever I create a hyperlink object in the database, I'm able to
click on it from my PC and it works just fine. All other users click
on it and Access just sits there...

project involves opening the word document which I created. But i get the

local machine (part of a LAN) using Visual Web Developer, with ASP.NET 2.0.

When I try and open an Access Database file I get the following message:
"You need Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.00 or better to use this feature.
You can download the latest version of internet explorer from
http://www.microsoft.com."
I am currently already running IE 7.0 and Office XP with Access 2002.
I am running Windows XP.
Also, I have been able to use access with no problems up until now.
