There is a form (single form) and a combobox. I want that current record of
the form is adjusted according to selected value in the combobox. Cuurrent
record should be the same as the value in the combobox.
What is the solution?

is it possible to avoid that a user could enter a text directly in a
combobox?
The user should only select a text from the list of the combobox without
typing anything.

Is there any way of getting a combo box to move to an item as the user types?
For example, if they type FR in a country list, it scrolls down to France.
This is the usual way that a combo box works, but it doesn't seem to happen
in VB .NET. Do I have to add code to get it to do this or is there a
property setting that allows this?

Hi,
I have a ComboBox in a Windows app (.net2.0). And when users start typing
into it, the dropdown populates itself from a webservice and gives relevant
options under it... But the mouse hides itself, os its very hard to know what
you are selecting.
The reason for mouse hiding itself is because in Control Panel >Mouse >>
Pointer Options >Hide pointer while typing is checked.
