I am using VB6 SP6. I have an application that prints charts. Specifically,
it prints line charts of plant process information nightly. The code is a
mix of API calls and Printer methods. I am currently migrating to a new PC
running XP. The charting application is hanging on a single line of code:
Printer.Orientation = vbPRORLandscape
It throws an error '484', "Problem getting information from the printer.

Hello all,
I'm using VB6.0 to write an application which prints a report. The problem I
have occurs when I try to allow the user to select the number of copies and
which pages to print.
Using the code below doesn't show the printer box to allow the selections to
be made but printing happens anyway.
The PrintRoutine subroutine (not shown) is copied from the MS knowledge base

to a printer. The app using is has multiple threads, all of which need
access to a shared instance. Can someone point me to an example of
multiple threads synchronized to use a single shared resource?

hi all,
i have a problem with a network database that's used by a lot of
people.
people are finding, they will start the database, and if the mouse is
moved over the print icon, the tooltip appears to show which printer it
will print to as normal. this printer however is a printer that the
user doesn't even have installed.

Hi huys,
Need to solve this problem. I need to print an Access Report (3 pages). For the first two pages (pages 1 and 2) they are in portrait orientation. For the last (page 3) page, it is in landscape orientation. How do I programme the report? I tried using the Printer.Orientation properties but it doesn't work. I need to show the 3 pages in its correct orientation in a single Print Preview Window.

I've got a problem which I can not locate. I will try to describe it and
would be glad, if someone had an idea how to identify the cause of the
problem.
Situation:
My application prints labels to a label printer (Datamax E-4203) via
PrintDocument. The PrintDocument prints a new page for each label, so with 4
labels printed at once I have a 4-page document - sounds easy - is easy.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
