Access Printer Preview

1 New Member
Hi huys,

Need to solve this problem. I need to print an Access Report (3 pages). For the first two pages (pages 1 and 2) they are in portrait orientation. For the last (page 3) page, it is in landscape orientation. How do I programme the report? I tried using the Printer.Orienta tion properties but it doesn't work. I need to show the 3 pages in its correct orientation in a single Print Preview Window.

Thanks in advance.

It seems strange!

The report for every data has the same structure... And the printer properties are availeble for all the report!

But however u can try to insert a subreport as 3-td page! I'm not sure that it will be good!

Pls tell us if this works!

:)

Best regards!

If the report has always 3 pages, with the same content, then you can try to split it into 2 reports, one for the first 2 pages and the other for the third page. Each of them, of course, can then be designed separately. To print them you can put the printing commands one after the other, so that when you press the button (or whatever you do to print), the final result will be 3 pages, formatted as you desire.

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been able to solve my problem. I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has many Access reports. I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a pdf file and save it to the user's machine. I am using Adobe Acrobat (5.0 I think) and have Adobe Distiller as a

Hi, I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything is good. If I scheduled the job to run at the time that I am not logged into the server, Access is not able to print to the printer. The error is pretty...

Anybody written code in VB.NET to: 1) show a print preview window of reports already written and stored in an Access 2002 database; or 2) execute the print of a report stored in an Access 2002 database? Thanks, Dean Slindee

Hi Guys: I was stuck. I needed to send a report to a file. My beautiful report(s) in Access were going to require loss of formatting with RTFs, a PITA in WordMailMerge, sending it as a text file...whatever. I described my situation to the guy I'm doing work for and he did some research for me and came up with the following link. http://www.novapdf.com/ The part that should excite us Access developers is their SDK

Access database (file format 2002-2003) generates reports with docmd.openreport but returns 3011 runtime error related to the printer. Switching Windows default printer is a work around but need to find out the cause. Help Desk updated printer driver on server and no runtime error for two months but we are receiving it again on three computers. I think this might be specific to the actual mdb file and what occurs with references, dll's,...

Greetings all! My problem is this. I've installed a new printer on my computer. This is the "default printer" for access. Now, some of my reports, which were working fine with the old printer, are now showing up with an odd view (very enlarged) in preview. If I go to page setup, and choose specific printer to then look at the paper size listed in my default printer, it shows Hegaki Card 100mmX148mm instead of letter. It seems as...

I have a DB that I developed on access XP (2002) and deployed over a year ago. No one has had problems printing any of the reports within the DB until we started loading 2007 on new computers. The access 2007 users cannot print one of the reports. This is maddening since I cannot duplicate the issue on any computer that runs 2003 or below. Is there something going on that I'm not seeing? Does anyone have any suggestions at all on...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
