Hi all
I have a report which displays staff absences. An absence record has
a start and end date and the type of absence, ie sickness, annual
leave.
I have created a form which allows the user to specify criteria for
viewing the report. The one I am having problems with is the date. I
allow the user to set a date range, so for example, the user selects
01/03/04 to 08/03/04 and I want to be able to show all absences that

Hi everyone,
This is a tough one. I have a database full of solicitations,
identifying a customer and recording initial call, first followup,
second followup, etc.
My boss want to be able to generate a report showing a list of
customer who were call between two different dates that he types into
a form. That, I have done. My boss types in his two dates, the SQL
statement searches through the follow-up call fields for a date

Using A2K. I've been asked to modify a report currently requiring only
one date parameter to now accept a date range. The main report has 2
subreports and is not bound to a table or query. The report prints
dental and hygenist appointments for the date (one subreport for each).
The user wants to enter a date range and have one page for each date
in the date range. I'm wondering how to modify the report. The only
way I see is to create...

I have followed instructions on the http://allenbrowne.com/tips.html
for limiting a report to a date range. At the bottom there is a note
that says
You will end up using this form for all sorts of reports. You may add
an option group or list box that selects which report you want printed,
and a check box that determines whether the report should be opened in
preview mode.
I have tried several times to do this but can't figure it out....

Hi,
The db I'm trying to update has a report form from which all other
statistical forms and reports are selected/printed by dept, type, cost,
number etc. The report form uses a date filter to generate the
necessary data and you can also addtionally filter by by individual
department/s, supplier/s if you so wish which is great
However, I'm trying to develop an individual statistical form that for
one subform uses the date filter as...

I have reports that run from a form where the user can choose a date
range, or they run automatically for a week in the "Weekly Reports"
option.
I created 2 queries and 2 reports - one query uses the WeekEndDate to
filter, and its associated report heading says "For the week Ending " &
forms!frmPrintReports.getWeekEndDate.
The other query selects the date range using "Between" and the 2 dates
on the form. Its associated report header...

Sorry if this is a bit long winded. First a little info about the database. This database is used to keep track of checkout information from our production department. It has three main tables that store information, the first one, that I have named "Checkout", stores the information I am querying for the two reports. It has six different fields - OrderNumber, Date, CheckedBy, BuiltBy, SerialNumber, and...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
