Microsoft Graph 2000 Chart

Has anybody got any samples of programming a chart.
I am trying to use a query to create an XY scatter graph and need to add
labels (Names and boats) to the points on the graph. Rob Bovey does it in
Excel, and I am having some success using Access, but it is tough going. Too
much trial, and definitely too much error. I wonder if anyone has any
samples

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil,

You might want to try posting this one in an Excel group. I can
remember finding some infor on this once by searching some Excel
groups. I am sorry that I cannot be of more assistance, I did this
once but it was a long time ago and I cannot find the app or the code.
Give the Excel group a try, its worth a shot :-)

Google "vba_grp.hl p". This is the help file for MS Graph. You will
get a lot of hits, some that will have samples. Also, I am using
Access 2003 and include the Microsoft Graph 11.0 Object Library in
with the references. I have been having pretty good success to this
point.

Is MS Graph really completely useless in Access 97? I uninstalled and re-installed to get the Office 97 version of MS Graph, but I see no way whatsoever to insert dynamic data into the chart. The wizard has got to be the worst wizard I've seen in Access, because it assumes way, way too much about what you want. And then when you click FINISHED, what you get has absolutely nothing to do with what you chose for the graph.

I've got an 83-page report which contains an Microsoft Graph 8 Chart, but the report takes FOREVER to format, probably because the row source is a bit complex: TRANSFORM Sum(qryCallsSummarizedByArbitraryYear.CallCount) AS SumOfCallCount SELECT qryCallsSummarizedByArbitraryYear.DateByYear FROM qryCallsSummarizedByArbitraryYear GROUP BY qryCallsSummarizedByArbitraryYear.DateByYear PIVOT qryCallsSummarizedByArbitraryYear.;

Hi there, I have a MsGraph-chart in my report. I just want to display a graph for each record (just plain bars for a value each year, nothing fancy) On one PC where only Access 97 is installed everything works fine. On my production-PC where I have installed several Office versions (all in different folders) some graphs just NOT represent the values of the corresponding record...

Access 2003 (previous 2000) Windows XP Pro I am fairly new at VBA within Access, learning as I go thorugh forums and discussion groups. I generally find my answers through previous posts, but I have been unable to find how to specifically refer to properties within a graph object. Below is a snippet of code from my module in which the graph ('chart_DataSet') is in a subform ('frm_sub_Chart') that is contained within a control...

Hi, My database is in SQL Server with Access as front end. I have a Microsoft Graph Chart for which the data is picked up with a query from the SQL Server. In the DataSheet the first row is picked up as the label which is the first record in the database. If I insert a row in the datasheet and then add a label its updating the chart correctly.

I have an Access 2000 query that asks the user for the start date & end date for a report or chart. In the Access report, I can display the start & end dates entered in the query in the header of the report. Problem: When I create a chart/graph using the same query, I am unable to display the start & end dates in the chart per the date prompts in the query. Any ideas on how I can display the date range in the chart/graph? Thanks much.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
