Resetting Right-Click functionality

RLN

RE: Access 2003

I wanted to turn off right clicking on forms so users couldn't go into
design mode and change stuff.
I have a special "programmer s' form that, when a password is put in,
enables F11 so I can go modify objects in the container.

Now I cannot even right click in the container.

I tried looping through the forms and resetting the shortcut menu
property to "Yes". This did not work and I still cannot right-click on
my forms or the DB container.

Does anyone have an example of code that would reset this property
across all forms and the container as well?

Here is the code I have so far that does not work correctly:

Dim frm As Form
For Each frm In Forms
Debug.Print frm.Name
frm.ShortcutMen u = True 'allow right clicking on all forms
Next frm

thnx...

Yes, I could do an MDE. I was just trying to see if there was a way to
hide the "dangerous menus" form the users, then restore them once the
app had closed.

Hi... I'm getting to grips with custom error handling, and am wondering if it is possible to somehow reset all the content already sent to the browser, and send some new stuff in its place. For example, if I'm looping through a database, and I've already written 10 records to the browser, and then an error occurs, is it possible to send a command to the browser that makes it drop everything it's received thus far, and then just have...

I have a Win 2003 SP1 with IIS 6 and host about 40 websites, most of them useing ASP/VB with access databases. The server is a Dell Dual 2.4Ghz XEON with 512Mb Ram. Every few days I get the error 'HTTP/1.1 New Session Failed' and the server stops showing the sites. It comes right after a bit and then the error comes back. I

I am creating a page and I need to add a reset button (like you would with HTML forms). Is there any way to do this other than resetting individual controls? Basically I need to page to return to the state after the OnLoad event

This seems to be related to the ViewState error that is now starting to plague ASP.Net apps. When the Application Pool is recycled, the Session seems to be getting reset. When this is done, session information is lost and my app forgets what rules a user has. I'd rather not recode to read this from the database for every page, but I wonder if I have no other choice. Anyone else notice the Session resetting?

I have a CSV processing program that instantiates Excel and performs various operations. I want the ability to reset the main form for running another data set with defaults selected. Right now I am one-by-one restoring every control to its initial state, but it occurred to me that if I could unload and reload the main form (from another module) that I could quickly and cleanly accomplish the same thing... right? But how would I do this...

I have a grid table in the front end (PHP on server side), and the master admin can sort data in that grid according to his own wish and save that new sorted order. Once the master admin sorts the data, all the users view data in that order only. And only the master admin has the right to sort and change order. What I'm doing is, I have an index field (not primary), according to which the data is displayed in ascending order. When the master...

Hi all, I have a POST form that also includes some anchors/links. If a user clicks a link, that link remains set so that pressing the submit button later not only sends the appropriate POST value, but also passes the previous link value. What I would dearly love to do is remove the query string after dealing with the passed value so that it isn't pased again when the submit button is susequently pressed. Would form.reset() be the right...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
