Keep-together bug in A97?

I have a problem in an A97 report.

The detail section of the report has Keep-together and CanGrow set to
Yes

The detail section contains a sub-report which can grow quite large.

If the subreport cannot fit on the page then it skips to the top of the
next page.

We would prefer that the sub-report start on the existing page and fill
it as much as possible.

So I have set KeepTogether to No.

The result is that if the subreport is *larger than one page* then the
report keeps generating new pages to infinity (well I did stop it before
it reached that point) without actually printing the subreport.

I have set the subreport also with KeepTogether Off but it makes no
difference.

Can anyone think of a solution?

Many thanks.

This is called "evil hack problem" because my problems are due to me trying to do an evil hack. Please don't judge me, just believe that there are reasons for what I'm trying to do :-) I've got a problem with BaseHTTPServer. I am trying to keep a connection alive so that I can send data down it. At the moment, I have subclassed BaseHTTPRequestHandler like this: def do_POST(self):

Hello, First I want to refer to the problem "WebRequest : execute a button" of a few days ago. The way I solved it, I loose my session, and as a consequence my session variables. I don't want to keep those variables, as an alternative, as ViewState variables because I don't want to transfer to many hidden fields. This is the code I use :

Hello, In order to go back to the previous page from a page with possible postbacks I keep Request.Referrer in ViewState and then use it to redirect to the previous page. However I am losing all the information entered in the previous page. I also want to keep the entries in many fields/controls in the previous page. Is there a way to keep the information in the previous page intact when you get back to it?

Hi there. This looks like a good place to get help with a problem I am having: - We have a c# windows app, which performs an HTTPWebRequest to a IIS box on Internet to retrieve an XML response. - In our test + develop environment this works wonderfully. We have it working through ISA server and also without ISA server. - At our client site however, the application times out. This appears to be caused by Keep Alives.

With the sniffer ethereal I get a lot of Connections Keep Alive in some sites like google.com and that returns me the Content-Length in the HTTP response header. When the connection is Close I don't get the Content-Length but I get an hexadecimal number that represents the size of the page but that is after the header and in the page more precisely. Is this normal to have this behaviour? I don't know how IE does to get Connections...

I have a new system Im building that stores entries of what people are searching for on my sites. I want to be able to keep records of how many times a keyword was searched for daily, and from that I can calculate weekly and monthly. At this point I have one entry per search phrase with the number of hits the search phrase has gotten, and the last time it was updated. As I start to take the program out of testing and move in more...

hello, we take full on sunday and incremental delta rest of the days everyday. i want to keep only 8 weeks of backups on TSM. i am trying to understand the meaning of parameter "keep" in db2adutl command. if you say keep 64 which means 64 backups, will it try to keep 64 of full and 64 of incremental delta's ? if that is true, it will keep 64 weeks of full backups ( because we only take full backup once a week ) and keep

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
