Howdy All!
Is there an easy way to find out the pixel height and width of an image? I
want to write IMG tags in this form:
<img src="../images/BigM_off.gif" width="173" height="169" name="BigM"
alt="Logo Rollover!">
so I am looking for an app or windows thingy that can quickly tell me the
height and width of an image.
Thanks for any advice!

Hi:
Stuck on another thing.
On a report I am creating, I want to make the detail section one line vertically. However,
in design view, I click on the page Footer Bar ,grab it with the "double arrow and
cross", and try to move it up and while it moves, as soon as I release it jumps back to
its original position. For some reason the property "height" for the detail section is
stuck at a minimum of .5833". The height will go LARGER but...

How can one obtain obtain the height of a MS Access 2K form?
There is a width property, but I don't see a corresponding height property.
I need to obtain the height of the form so that I can dynamically resize an
object on the form in the form's Form_Resize method when a user resizes the
form, both horizontally and vertically.
Thanks,
s/KAM

I want to get the numeric named constant value from an ini file. Basically
I want to translate a string data type into the named constant value it
represents.
For example - for SQL-Server replication the sql_merge dll has the following
constants for configuring the security mode:
DB_AUTHENTICATION, NT_AUTHENTICATION
These values are 0, 1 respectively.

Both `K&R C, 2nd' and `C: A reference manual, 5th' introduce the
"hello, world" thing using the name "string-constant". But `ISO/IEC
9899:TC2' does not include this kind of thing in section `A.1.5
Constants'.

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting a conditional force (namely friction) using
VB6. I have had no problem using constant or periodic forces. The
trouble seems to be that when defining the later you can use...
Dim FrictionEffect As DIEFFECT
and then just define the details of the force later on, and then use
ForceEffect when Starting the force.

Hi
I am adding an optimization to lcc-win:
sqrt(2.0) will provoke now that the constant 1.4142... etc will be
generated instead of generating an actual call.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
