How can I force qry field to display Yes/No or True/False?

MLH
Here's my field in qry907908CheckS umData:

Active:
IsVehicActive([tblVehicleJobs].[VehicleJobID],"qry907908Chec kSumData")

Clicking on the field in the QBE grid, FORMAT property setting for
this field are NUMERIC only. I want to choose Yes/No - but that ain't
a choice.

(1) Why not?
(2) What can I do to MAKE it a choice?

Function IsVehicActive(W hichCar As Long, CallingProcedur e As String)
As Boolean
.... blah, blah, blah ...

End Function

You are not limited to the choices in the list. Use the keyboard.

Can I set the Format property in a date/time field in code? Can I set the Input Mask in a date/time field in code? Can I set the Format of a Yes/No field to Checkbox in code? I am working on a remote update of tables and fields and can't find enough information on these things. Also, how do you index a field in code?

I need the code to update the database when Save is clicked and a text field has changed. This should be very easy since I used Microsoft's wizards for the OleDBAdapter and OleDBConnection, and DataSet; and all I'm doing is showing one record in text fields, allowing the user to modify the text fields, and then updating the database again when the user clicks the Save button. The fields already show the correct data record since I have...

I have an interesting problem when I run the following code in Netscape (7.02) vs. IE. This page works great in IE and all my controls bring up the validation summary dialog box if the required field is not filled out. However in Netscape NONE of the required field validations occurs at all in Netscape. The form is posting correctly because I can walk through the post back process. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it?

I have a DataGrid that is configured to use the Edit/Update/Cancel concept correctly. My grid shows values from 5 database fields. I only need to update that last 4 fields. The last field is a Yes/No value in Access. Using the OleDbCommand, if I do not consider the Yes/No field, the ExecuteNonQuery command, using my UPDATE SQL statement, updates the record correctly. However, if I put the Yes/No field into the mix, ExecuteNonQuery...

All- Please advise as to what's the best way to display data in a column in a grid view (and I'm using a dataset) in a table (say TABLE2) which: - is non-zero only if a boolian field in the same row is true, and - when the boolean field is true, gets its value FROM ANOTHER TABLE? Say we have these two tables: TABLE1

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
