I have two subforms within a particular form. The one on top is a datasheet
of transactions; the one on the bottom is a summary of totals. I would like
to have the datasheet fill the entire parent form until a command button is
clicked, then have the datasheet form shrunk to half it's original height
and have the totals summary form appear below it. The totals summary sheet,
then, would not be visible until the command button is clicked,...

I need to be able to click in a subform and run code but at the same time I
need to be able to scroll the records without running the code. I tried
coding the Enter event of the subform control but when I try to scroll the
records the code runs. The subform is continuous; all the controls are on
one line and the detail section is not exsposed above or below the controls.
I tried coding the detail Click event but nothing happened. I tried...

I have an unbound main form with an unbound subform.
frmProjects
fsubProjectList
Using combo boxes, the user can select several search criteria on
frmProjects and then click a command button. The command button passes
the criteria as a string to a query. A subform, which is based on this
query, shows the results of the search.

I have a form with several subforms. Users enter the data, then on the
parent there is a command button that runs code to generate a .pdf
document from a report based on the data they are working with. If a
user enters data in a subform, then directly clicks the command button
on the parent form, the data in the subform is not included in their
document. I THOUGHT that as soon as focus left the subform, any
pending changes to the data...

Hi,
Simple version of the question.....
How do I use the where clause of the open form command to show an
account with a matching ID to be displayed when the form is opened?
Eg. I select a record on a continuous form and click and edit button.
The button runs the open form code. I want the APPID of the current
record on the continous form to match the APPID of the record viewed

I have an Access 2002 main form ("Project Update Form") with a subform ("sfEZMilestone").
What I want is to somehow change the subform to a command button so when a user clicks the command button, it will open the subform in a new window (like a pop up window). There, the user can update and edit the fields as necessary then close the window and return to the main form.
The Link Child Field is ID and the Link Master Field is ID.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
