Error executing command

1 New Member
I have very limited knowledge of access, but the database I am using started displaying an error message a few days ago. When I try to open the form database using the switchboard it says "Error executing command". Other functions are available, I can access the information through Tables. Any ideas what the problem may be?
Thanks for any help you can give

The possibilities are endless. If you have not made any design changes in a while and this suddenly just happened then you could have a form that is corrupt (or subform of the main form). If this is the case and you want to confirm it is a corrupt form then create a new database and import everything if the form is corrupt it will likely hang or error out when it tries to import that form. If this is the case you can usually recover the file using the following commands in VBA.

SaveAsText acForm, "Your Form Name", "NewFile"
LoadFromText acForm, "New Form", "FileThat was exported"

For those encountering the 'Error executing child request for...' error, the following may bring some light on the problem. It is possible that the page you are transfering/executing to is re-invoking your handler and producing a recursive relationship. The following describes an example of the recursive relationship. ________________________________ //snippet from web.config <httpHandlers>

We have a user getting an error message as follows: Error executing child request for handler 'ASP.frmpropertyclosings_aspx'. The line in the code-behind page that is causing the error is below. If Not Page.PreviousPage Is Nothing Then I cannot figure out why this error is occurring and wondered if anybody had any ideas. Below is the stack trace. Thanks.

i have (another) problem. The database i've been trying to design has been going trough a bit of testing. During those tests we've noticed that when trying to access a form from the swich board the "Error Executing the command" occurs (this is happening only when a user has allready accessed the form and others try to do the same). This is strange because the other 2 forms on the swichboard don't have this problem...and their design is...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
