ASP error number 13 - Type mismatch with SELECT...FOR UPDATE statement
I got ASP error number 13 when I use the SELECT...FOR UPDATE statement
as below.
However, if I use SELECT statement without FOR UPDATE, it is fine and
no error.
I also tried Set objRs = objConn.Execute("SELECT * FROM EMP UPDATE OF
EMPNO"), but it still couldn't help.
any ideas? I tried to search in the web but couldn't find similar

Hello,
we have a website in ASP , the pages connected to .mdb access database
by ODBC there is a big traffic on this site, so after 9-10 hour the
server show this error to visitors :
HTTP Error 500.13 - Server error: Web server is too busy.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
BUT only .asp pages on all domains make this error, all images or aspx

Hi,
I can't understand why mysql allows me to grant lock tables to all
tables in a particular database, while it fails to accept the same
command applied to a single table only. I've tested on MySQL versions
4.1.20 and 5.0.33 (both running CentOS 4.4 linux on Intel-32) with
exact same results.
Whats wrong with grant lock tables on a single table?

The Delete Event/Proc & "Save_Fields_In_Form_Header" Event/Proc in
my form were working perfectly.
However, after I added a call to the "Save_Fields_In_Form_Header"
Event/Proc in the "Current" Event of my form, and I now try to Delete
a record, I get ... Run-Time Error 3218 - Could not Update; Currently
Locked. My Access application then effectively freezes forcing me to
shut Access down & re-start.
The record DOES get deleted...
