OK there are a number of problems which I will try to address
The biggest one is here

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.      Setrs = Me.RecordsetClone = Me![Cmb_User] & "'"
Setrs doesn't mean anything. However ...

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Dim rs as Recordset
  2.
  3.     Set rs = Me.RecordsetClone
does.

You cannot however then try to set it to Me![Cmb_User] & "'"

Why were you trying to do this?

Also RecordsetClone will take into memory a copy of all records currently bound to the form. I don't think that's what you are trying to do.

Can you explain in plain english what you were trying to do here?

Can anyone please lend me a hand, I'm trying to design a cookie based password system. I have managed to do everything bar one thing that is driving me crazy. I have a MYSQL database called "PassworDB" which has a table in it called "auth", this table has the columns "user_id" (this is an auto incrementing number) "user" (meant for the users name) and "password".

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
