Labels shown once per page on a column Report

14 New Member
Hi all,

I need to make a report and to save space I need to be able to display the title(label) in a column report just once per page. Ex.
Result from record 1 Result from record 2 Result from record 3
TITLE1 a b c
TITLE 2 d f g
.
.
.
Title N

I wonder if someone can help me with this.

Thanks,

Maybe to make more clear what I need to do is the following: If you look at a tabular regular report you'll see what I need but transposed. The title on the left in one single column and the data on its right side

Thanks Again,

Your needed structure isn't clear to me, but when you open File/Pagesetup you'll be able to create a report with multiple columns.
Another help could be the use of a subreport for the detail information besides your label.

I have a database which will be printing out labels for SMALL test tubes (1/4" high). We have yet to find a reasonably-priced printer (labelwriter) which can effectively print this on ROLLS of labels....due to slippage, soon you have the printout missing the label. So we are thinking that we have to use sheets of labels. HOWEVER, one job may need 15 labels, another may need 8, etc. Does anyone have a solution for how to set this up in...

I know this is probably an easy question, but I could not find/figure it out. Basically, I am printing mailing labels with a "Sorting/Grouping" section that groups the label types together. Also, I am using a "Report Header" to show a count of how many total labels that are being printed. Now, my problem is that without the "Report Header", the spacing is perfect. But, when I add the Report Header, it gets shifted downwards and the...

I created a report to print labels, and it created a custom page size for the report. When I opened the properties of the printer driver I could see it listed - as Custom. Then I had to change printer drivers. (Long story, rather OT.) When I displayed the report, it was formatted for a full page - not real useful for mailing labels. The list of available page sizes did not include Custom.

Is there a way that a user can set the position for a single label to print within an Access Label report? I guess I would like something like what is available in Word where the user can select the column and row position for the single label to be printed. I would like to be able to provide a form where the user selects the column and row position for the single label or default to the top left label. For example, the size of the labels...

Hi, I know Access allows for easy construction of a report setup to print labels from a table/query, etc. I've done that one. It works pretty well for what I need. However, is there an example anywhere that someone can point me to that is more flexible? And, I mean flexible in this regard:

I'd like to print mailing labels. Simple enough eh? In the db I just took over, the previous fellow had some names listed multiple times, if those folk got more than one copy of the our monthly newsletter. I'd like to clean things up and have each name listed just once. Ideally, I'd have a column for 'number of copies'. Then, when my label report ran, it would read this number and print X number of labels. Is this possible? If so, can...

I am really hoping that someone can help me out of this problem I am having. I have created a database for the purpose of printing labels for manufacturing purposes. I have a table say 'production data' where I am entering the details of the product and the quantity to be manufactured on that day. I also have a report label template, which will print the label for me based on the days production. My problem is that the label report only...

Hello all, What's the secret for continuous reports in access, such as continuous feed labels or receipt printer paper? I'm unsure how access works with the top / bottom margins, and the page setup (it appears that there isn't a continuous form paper size). Will access look at the top/bottom margins for each occurence of a label? I'm wanting to setup support for dymo roll labels, as well as receipt printer paper for POS. If the report...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
