Hello all,
What's the secret for continuous reports in access, such as continuous feed
labels or receipt printer paper? I'm unsure how access works with the top /
bottom margins, and the page setup (it appears that there isn't a continuous
form paper size). Will access look at the top/bottom margins for each
occurence of a label?
I'm wanting to setup support for dymo roll labels, as well as receipt
printer paper for POS. If the report is set to letter sized, and the label
takes up an inch in height, do you just set the bottom margin to 10" (for an
11" letter size paper)?
And how would you set a receipt type report for a 2.5" continuous roll? And
in this case, will access put in a top / bottom margin once the receipt
reaches the length of a letter sized page (11")?
I'm just not sure how access handles the top/bottom margins in these cases.

Hi all
I have a small but rather annoying problem with continuos forms, and am
wondering if anyone can suggest a method of getting over it.
The front end is Access 2002 with the BE being SQL Server 2000.
I have a continuous bound form that is populated from a small recordset
when the form opens. The form has lots of other bits, but my problem is with
a single text box and an on-click event.

I have a database which will be printing out labels for SMALL test tubes
(1/4" high). We have yet to find a reasonably-priced printer (labelwriter)
which can effectively print this on ROLLS of labels....due to slippage, soon
you have the printout missing the label. So we are thinking that we have to
use sheets of labels.
HOWEVER, one job may need 15 labels, another may need 8, etc.
Does anyone have a solution for how to set this up in...

I know this is probably an easy question, but I could not find/figure it

Basically, I am printing mailing labels with a "Sorting/Grouping" section
that groups the label types together. Also, I am using a "Report Header" to
show a count of how many total labels that are being printed.

I created a report to print labels, and it created a custom page size for
the report.
When I opened the properties of the printer driver I could see it listed -
as Custom.
Then I had to change printer drivers. (Long story, rather OT.)
When I displayed the report, it was formatted for a full page -
not real useful for mailing labels.
The list of available page sizes did not include Custom.
