Reports and graphs

3 New Member
Hi, I'm using Access on XP and have created a number of reports that have text boxes with calculated totals (i.e., they're associated only with that particular report and not a query or table). In the chart wizard, the only option I'm given is to use fields from either queries or tables to create the graph. Is it possible to use the calculated fields from the reports as the data for my graphs?

Thanks in advance for any and all information!

I have a line graph in Crystal Reports 8.5. There are dates along the x-axis and scores along the y-axis. I have 2 data series, so there are 2 lines graphed. My problem occurs when one of the of the data series has a NULL value in my database (SQL Server) for a particular date. Crystal Reports displays a 0.0 value for the date for that series, and also graphs a zero for that date. So I get an artificial dip in the line graph down to...

I have 3,000 reports (dynamically generated and include graphs) that were created from a Cold Fusion Server behind our firewall. I now need to publish the results (static information) from these reports outside of our firewall on an IIS 4.0 server. This outside server is only setup with the asp.dll and will not have any Cold Fusion components installed on it. Does anyone know how I can publish the results of the Cold Fusion Reports on...

Hi, I wanted to find out if it is possible to create graphs based on values stored in my database. i.e. i am building an application for a fictional hotel and i wanted a graph showing the room utilization for a given month, or the amount of profit. is there a feature in vb.net that will draw graphs or other representation automatically? i would also like the flexibility of letting the user change the level of detail to drill down too.

Hi there, First of all I apologise for being a PHP noob. Is there a PHP equivalent of Java's Jasper Reports? http://jasperforge.org/sf/projects/jasperreports Basically Jasper is a bunch of libraries which allow you to create reports, in various formats:

I am working on a project. I am running ms access. I am wanting to take my reports and export between 2-5 columns and put them in Powerpoint and make an automagic graph. So, I want to be able to hit a button, and that will export to PowerPoint and make graphs whenever there is an update. I currently wrote code to export to Excel, but I just need some graphs. Right now I am having to type the info in manually. Any ideas?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
