hi,
I have a drop down list on the main form which has a query attached to
it.Looks like the record is not moving to the next record,cos when I
select the next record from the list it gives an error message "the
record could not saved ,it could create a duplicate values in the
index,primary key or relationship............".I am also getting this
message when I click on the record selectors.
Can anyone please give me any tips

When I am adding records to a database and each record is unique by
the Serial Number. I would like to step through my code adding
records unless the Serial Number already exists in the database. If
the record already exits, then I would like to pop up a form, in
pop-up, dialog mode. The form will ask if the user wants to make

How do I goto a specific record in a BOUND form when the form has a
primary
index of ID which is autonumbered. I need to visit 4 seperate records,
one at a time.
This works for RecNO but no good for Field search: DoCmd.GoToRecord ,

And I know is NOT recommended.

Using Access 2000. I have a continuous form which for simplicity sack
has two fields Social Security Number and Last Name.
In the header of the continuous form I have a textbox where you can
type in any part of a social security number and when you do I want it
to take the user to the closest match SSN record in the continuous
form.

I have a button on my form that opens a new form but with a filter:
stDocName = "frm_Specimen_Entrainment"
stLinkCriteria = "=" & Me!
DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria
This works really well except that, as expected, I can't add new records. Interestingly, you can click the "next record" button and it will show a blank form (and then grey out) but the Entrainment_ID goes blank...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
