Numbering the "Details" in an Access 2003 Report

1 New Member
Is there a way to create a numbering for the Details in an Access 2003 Report. For instance, if a report has 12 records that make up the Details in a report, can these be numbered, i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., for each Detail record.

Does anyone know if there is a widget for Tkinter available somewhere that implements something like the Microsoft Explorer View->Details mode, or the Apple iTunes track browser, or the Nautilus View as List mode? I.e., rows and colums of text, where the column widths can be adjusted by the user, and the user can click on a column header to sort the rows by that column? Thanks. |>oug

Hi, Ive got 3 forms, (a subform within a subform within a form) and when I refresh the outermost form, Access closes and offers to send an error report. The forms worked fine a few weeks ago, but now they cause this error in Access 2002 (Access 2000 is fine) Each of the sub forms use values from their parent forms to produce results.

Hi, I'm new to crystal report and require a help urgently. My requirement is something like this. I have a main report from where I call 2 subreports, say summary and details. The main report has a group based on a certain column and say this results in "n" distinct groups. The details of each group I'm getting from a subreport.

Hi all, Newbie question here... I have followed this tutorial: http://www.ondotnet.com/pub/a/dotnet/2004/11/08/liberty.html?page=2 that explains how to display a Master-Details relation in your application. It looks simple, but for some reason, I cannot find the option

I've got an MS Access query which runs fine when double clicked and returns all of the rows in a test database I'm building. I've set up a multi group report based on the query. I immediately began getting the "Enter Parameter Value" dialog and it was asking for the query by its name "sel_report_data" whenever I tried to run or preview the report. To troubleshoot the problem, I selected the query in the database window, hit the "New...

I wrote a short program that uses "SendObject". It works fine on my computer, it works fine on my clients computer, but when I copy/paste it up to the server to use it there also, Access issues the following message: The expression on click......The command or Action "SendObject" isn't available now. If you click on the See Details button you get: Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) encountered a problem while attempting to access a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
