Hello,
I'm using the mx.ODBC.Windows package in order to read/write a MSAccess
database. Everything works fine apart from the DATE format handling. I'm
using the default "datetimeformat" (i.e. DATETIME_DATETIMEFORMAT) as
suggested. The date columns in the MSAccess database have "Short Date"
format.
When I read a DATE item everything works fine, like:

Currently working on a ASP for a friend, which requires the date and
time on it. It pulls in entries from an Access Database with dates and
times in the format of:
"Fri Oct 17 18:02:46 2003"
However my date and time on the ASP page is displayed as:

Hi,
I generate a report using two dates (From and To). I notice if I enter
01/10/2003 that it is interpreted by Access as 10/01/2003 i.e 10th January
rather than 1st October as I intended.
This is the old problem of US date format mm/dd/yy versus dd/mm/yy.
I am stepping through the code and the dates do seem to be ok but when the
report runs I get records earlier than 1st October which is not what I want.

I make an import of a huge file txt table with headers at each page

in order to use the data I first qo a query that exclude all line
representing the headers repeated for each page.
now that I have a txt table with several colums I convert back the

In a JET db using ACCESS, I specify a field Data Type as Date/Time and the
Format as Short Date. These dates appear as 1/3/2003, 3/31/2003 ..... in
Access which is fine since I don't want the time. Yet in a VB.NET program,
where I display the same data from the JET db in a textbox, they appear as
1/3/2003 12:00:00 AM, 3/31/2003 12:00:00 AM ...... How do I get rid of the
time, 12:00:00 AM? I'm using Access 2003 and VB.NET 2002.

the following code works perfectly well. Basically it populates a
series of check boxes on my form, depending on whether dlookup finds an
associated record.
The problem i have is that when the date (or xDate) goes over to the
next month, dlookup returns NULL even though though there is a record.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
