You have to output to word in snapshot format. I assume you are outputting to word in rtf, txt or doc format, Word rtf, txt or doc format will not handle gridlines, rectangles, or boxes.

That being the case, as per puppydogbuddy's response, you appear to be out of luck!

The only other alternative you have is to convert yor document to PDF, which requires a totally separate process. See this link:

Is there a way to export an MS Access Report to Word/Excel that looks EXACTLY like it appears in Access? When I export to Excel, only certain data appears, titles, headings... all missing. The format is not aligned... When export to Word, all my lines (table lines) are gone, making it hard to read. Thanks. Perry

Hi! I would like to export some MS-Access reports output to pdf. However, the only possibility offered by Access (afaik) for me to export formatted output is snp (snapshot) (I use MS-Office XP Prof. 2002 version). With formatted output I mean the *exactly* output I produce from executing my report (information is gathered from an ODBC database).

Am having a problem usink AK2 exporting a report to an RTF file. The Access report has most fields and sections set to CanShrink and CanGrow. The report looks fine, but the ends of a number of fields get cropped. Can export to a PDF file OK, but I can't edit a PDF file. Any ideas, or can't it be done? THANKS Phil

Hi I have an application which produces Access Report Letters but my end user wants to be able to edit these reports in word and wants them to open up directly in word. My reports contain sub reports and I don't know how to export these whilst keeping the formatting. Can anyone help? It has been suggested I create and open my reports in Crystal Viewer as you can export to word easier from Crystal but it seems a round about way.

I have created a report that displays the contents of large memo fields. The report must be exported to MS Word (or .rtf) so the type style and type size can be modified according to the final user's preferences. The report doesn't export as expected. When the exported .rtf file is opened in MS Word, the layout appears as it does on the report in MS Access. However, at the end of each line, there is a carriage return. Considering that each...

I know you can export an Access 2007 report to a Word .rft tab delimited file but that's not what I need. I'd like to get/put together the VBA (if possible) to export the Access Report directly to a Word.docx table. Looked around but all the references just mention the .rft or a .doc with some retention of formating but not a table.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
