I'm wondering if this is only happening to me. I'm running Win XP home
edition, and have Access 97 on my computer, and have had Access 2000 on my
pc. I have 512MB RAM, and an AMD 2700 CPU.
With Access 2007, I can get it to crash nearly 100% of the time by doing the
following:
- Open a form in design mode, right-click in a field and choose properties.
- In the properties box, right click in any property (as if you're going to
highlight and do a copy), and Access 2007 will crash nearly 100% of the
time. Right-clicks are not a problem anywhere else, except a time or 2 in a
datasheet that was 2 levels down in a subform, but it seems to be mainly in
the properties box.
In the properties box only, I've tried to get away from doing a right-click,
but still forget from time to time. Instead I'm using the keyboard shortcuts
for copy, and it doesn't crash with the keyboard. I do use a Logitech
wireless keyboard/mouse combo that I bought in 2003, but not sure if that
would have anything to do with it.
Anyone else getting this?
