Is there a way I can calculate a field in a form based on another field in
the same form. When clicking submit, both values should be posted to the
next page. I want to be able to type in a value in one field, and
automatically in a second field the value*1,36 should appear.

Hello everyone,
I hope someone is out here who can help me with a simple calculation...
I have a sales data base in access with monthly sales history by
product. to make future predictions I need the slope (representing
growth) of monthly sales.
the data is setup in a crosstab with the months in different collums,
say column 1 to 12 for last year. I want to calculate the slope for
every row (on the same query or another if needed)

I want to buildup a block of text strings to display in a unbound control,
that has limited width but multiple lines. Currently I am using the left$()
function to trim the text to a standard number of characters. I want a
function to return the number of characters that will fit in the width of
the control. To keep the...

This is how I do it now.
1. Determine the dimensions of the rectangle.
2. Set a my font size to a fixed maximum size.
3. Apply the font my string and measure the string using the graphics
object.
4. If string size is less than the size of the rectangle, we are done.

I have been trying to calculate the difference between two date and display the difference in hours and minutes (HH:MM). I can't get it calculate properly and I can't hours and minutes to display.

I am trying to calculate in VBA in Access 2002 a moving average and update a table with the calculations. Fields in my WeeklyData table are
Week Ending (date)

Sales Units (double)
Promo (Text) -- is null or "X"

I have a vba module which I thought would work, but it doesn't. I think the problem is an embedded SQL Totals Top 8 query, which doesn't...

Hello,
I have 2 time fields dynamically generated in format "m/d/y H:m".
Could someone show me a good function to calculate the time interval
difference in minutes? I played with strtotime() but but that only
gave me difference in hours and only if the times were on the same day
(after wrapping with date() function). TIA

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
