Exporting Crosstabs

2 New Member
Hi,

I have a Crosstab query that I want to run on a daily basis, each day a column will be added with the date as a column headers. I want to automate this by use of a macro. Now the problem is that when you run a Crosstab it doesn't create a table (i.e it's like a Select query), hence you can't export by use of a macro, since you can only export tables as far as I know. Is there a way to export the resultant crosstab query, or copy the crosstab in to a table?
Thanks

There is nothing to stop you exporting a query the same as you would a table.

I have a crystal report which works fine in the Crystal design. The crosstabs display the summarized fields as horizontal, but when I run the same report in dotnet the crosstabs display the summarizd fields as vertical (default). Is this a Crystal viewer bug? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Hi: While the crosstabs capability appears very powerful, I don't see how I can get the information into a form or anything else. Is there some way I can do a cross tabs, and then use the result? Whenever I try I find that there is no data available, unlike regular queries, forms and reports Any help would be appreciated. Regards

The short of it: If you needed to import a CSV file of a certain structure on a regular basis(say 32 csv files, each to one a table in 32 databases), what would be your first instinct on how to set this up so as to do it reliably and minimize overhead? There are currently no constraints on the destination table. Assume the user or some...
