I'm in the situation of having to print a form - not a report. This will
fit nicely in a landscape format but by default it prints portrait. Is
there any code to make it play nice? 4 8748

Open the form, then click on File + Page SetUp + Page
Set the orientation to Landscape and save the change.
However, printing the form from the form view is not efficient and you
are quite limited as to what you can do.
Save the form as a report (right-click on the form name and then
select "Save as Report"). Then print the report. You now have the all
advantages that printing reports have.

Thanks that sorted it for now. My fault for letting it get into this
situation (this was work that was done for me).

FredG,
I didn't know about the "Save As Report" feature. Great.
One caveat for the original poster....
If you're using an unbound record source, then you may be fine. But if your
record source is a 10,000 record table or query, then your user may kill a
lot of trees....
Thanks,
Fred Zuckerman (fredz)
It is not applicable subject , you can copy the texts of the the Form
into a report

I tried posting earlier and it never showed up..
I have a simple program to print a text file. I need to know how to change the page settings to landscape if it is not already in ladnscape mode. I do not want to use a dialog to do it and this appears the only way you can do it. I just need it to spit out the print in landscape orientation. Why is this so hard to do for something that should be easy.

Hi,
I want to print in Landscape format from an aspx page (when ever the
user chooses print from the browser or a print button on the form).
I load aspx controls dynamically on the page. I used the following
style sheet with which I was able to print in Landscape mode, if there
is no <form> tag on the page.
<style type="text/css" media="print">
DIV.page
{ MARGIN: 10% 0%; WRITING-MODE: tb-rl; HEIGHT: 80% }

Dear,
I want to print a VB6 form in landscape orientation and it should be done in a running mode. I mean through coding everything must be done at runtime.
By default, the Form.PrintForm method prints the form in portrait mode, but I want to print the form in landscape mode.
What should I do?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
