Code to append dtpicker 3 date to a table??

1 New Member
I'm creating a simple form in Access, and I've added a couple of drop-down calendars, but I don't know how to have the user-selected date append to the table with the rest of the form data.

I'm guessing I need to select "Code Builder" after selecting Event Procedure (On Exit) on the Event tab. Does anyone know the VB code necessary to append the date to the table?? Or is there a different way to get this done?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I can find nothing in Google about this.

Thanks!!!

Not a single line of code is necessary since the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control is Data Aware. Simple set the Control Source of the Control to your Date Field. These Date values will automatically de displayed for existing Records, and any new entries will automatically be saved to the underlying Table for New Records.

Hello, in my project, i use a form with Microsoft's Dte Picker Control (MSComCtl2.DTPicker.2). This control is linked up to a date field of a table. When i open the form, the control always displays its default date value set in the properties and not the date of the appropriate column of my table. Using VBA and "msgbox"'ing the value of the control, it shows the right value (the one from the table): in the table (1st record) the...

Can I set the Format property in a date/time field in code? Can I set the Input Mask in a date/time field in code? Can I set the Format of a Yes/No field to Checkbox in code? I am working on a remote update of tables and fields and can't find enough information on these things. Also, how do you index a field in code?

Hello, I have a table that I am appending 3 seperate tables into. My main problem is that each time I append the data, it simply adds to the data already there. That might sound ok, except that if I append the data 3 times in succession, it copies the same data over 3x. Now I have copies in triplicate. It used to only transfer records that weren't already there, but not anymore. If I can't get the append to append correctly, I was...

The Active X control for the dtpicker in my development copy is Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP4). The version of this...

If the value of DTPicker is not mindate of DTPicker, It should not be allow us to enter any value earlier than the exitsing value of DTPicker. Ex: My DTPicker value is : 1/15/2008 It should not allow any date which is earlier than 1/15/2008 (like 1/14/2008).

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
