Photo Catalog

I am attempting to design a database that will let me create dynamic catalogs for various products. I have photos that will go with each product. I have attempted to create a database using an OLE object.

I have been able to get the OLE Object to display in the report but I am having a problem getting the photo to center in the bound image object.

Also, there seems to be plenty of problems using Access and images so I am wondering if there is a better program to develop catalogs for products? I had hoped to use a database since there are various customers each with various products.

Any suggestions?

What about just storing the path to the image?
I have found this code:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Private Sub Detail_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
  2.     Me![Imageframe].Picture = Me![Imagepath]
  3. End Sub
This would allow me to show the photo based on the path stored, but how would I create a form that would let me save the image path to a table without me having to manually type in the path?

There's a way to bring up a file dialog but I've never done that before. I know some of the other experts on this site have though so you might want to make a new post asking how to use that. But first you'll want to do a search.

I am trying to read in a bunch of images and manipulate them using Image::Magick, then display them using Tk::Photo. I would like to do this without creating a temp file for each image, since there can be quite a few of them. However, I can't make Tk::Photo understand the data returned by Image::Magick's ImageToBlob() function. Here is the...

G'day everyone I'm looking for a simple photo gallery script in PHP (or Perl), but not too simple. I have tried several photo gallery scripts in either language and I have found that they are either too complex or too simple for my purpose. Most photo gallery scripts are intended primarily for sharing new photos continuously and allowing...
