CheckBoxes in Continous Forms

Hi all
I am trying to create a form 'Form1' that updates my database. Fist this form is based on a query that returns all the records in table 'employe'.
query1="Select id, name, salary from emoloyee"
Form1 is Continous and it shows me all the records and within every record I have a check box. In the form footer I have a button that increase salary of all the selected rows.

The problem is that when I check one check box, all check boxes will be checked. And that is normal cause all the check boxes have the same name.
What can I do :
First to check the rows I want
Second to update the selected rows.

Many thanks

You can have an extra column in the table that's the checkbox.

The you can use an update SQL to update the salary and switch the checkbox back to unchecked.

I don't need An extra field in my table All my need of checkboxes is in that form nowhere else. The objective of the checkbox is not storing data it's just to do a paritcular job to some records, and another time do another job to others.

So the checkboxes must be related to this form only.

There's a problem with doing that in a continuous form. And you brought up that problem yourself. Unbound checkboxes will check for every record in a continuous form. Either you do it one record at a time or you implement the checkbox in your table so that you can do record level checks.

There is a Summary/Example further down... On page one of my site I have a form with some checkboxes and detailed descriptions. When the form is submitted (to page two), the values of the checkboxes are picked up using $_POST and put into session variables. On page two there is another form which is simply a condensed version of the previous one (titles with no descriptions). The checkboxes are named the same on both forms. When...

I have this working, but I don't think it's done efficiently or the best way: <a href="javascript:setAllAccounts(true)">check all</a> <a href="javascript:setAllAccounts(false)">clear all</a> function setAllAccounts(value) { for(i = 0 ; i < document.forms.accounts.length; i++ ) { document.forms.accounts.checked = value; } }

Some of the checkboxes have to be invisible, and in some cases some of the checkboxes have be be enabled=false. Hi, since sometime I'm stuck in a problem where I want to check or uncheck all the checkboxes. If I'm choosing name for the checkbox array as 'chkbx_ary' then I'm able to check/uncheck all the checkboxes (code pasted below). But if name of the checkbox array is 'chkbx_ary' then it's failing. I want the name to be 'chkbx_ary' because I want to access this array at server side. Though one may not require to see php part but I'm still pasting...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
