So, I'm doing the following in a php script so that I can fire a
download dialogue AND redirect the page (after clicking submit in a
form). I'm doing it this way because of the problem with headers and
such and server-side vs client-side issues:
$dir = "somedir";
$file = "somefile";
print("

Access97 Database
The database is split into a frontend and backend and not connected to any other
database. The database has an unbound report with 15 subreports. Some of the
subreports include Excel charts in unbound object frames. When I add 3
additional subreports, I get the error message that Access can't open any more
databases. Can anyone suggest what may be causing the error message.
Thanks!

Helle everyone,
I'm using VS.NET 2005 and the Crystal Report Viewer in an ASP.NET page.
When the user click the print button on the viewer toolbar, a Crystal print
dialogue/page opens asking to print all or a range of pages. After which the
user sees the report as pdf in the browser. How do I bypass the print
dialogue/page? When clicking on the print button, I would like to show them
the current page only as pdf in the browser.

I have a form called "EmpRpt". It has three fields. First field is
"chrUserID," this is a combo box with a row source from another table. The
Second Field is "BeginDate." The Third field is "EndDate."
I then have a command button. I want to put a code in this buttons on click
event. The code should open up a report called "EmpRpt."
The report will have the three fields just like the form. I want those three
fields to appear with...

Hi -
Is it possible to hide the detail section of a report at run time?
I have a report that prints all details, with summary lines. The user
would like the report ALSO with just summary lines.
It seems the simplest thing is to run the code (see below) once with
the detail section showing, and a second time hiding the detail
section. I can't figure out the code to do that and don't see it
posted.

Hi,
I am new to Visual C++ (6.0). I want to put all the print information
in different lines into a box.
I create a EDIT dialogue box, and then add a CString variable (m_MSG)
to the dialogue box to display the print information in the box.
However, the print information displayed in the box is in one line,
like this "10.0| 20.0". The "\n" character for the change to a new
line has not been recognized.

Hello
When I want to print a report using code I normally use the following code
DoCmd.OpenReport "RptName", acViewNormal
This works OK when I'm only printing one copy of the report.
What I'm trying to do now is open the CommonDialog using .ShowPrinter
and set the number of copies to print from the CommonDialog

I have a form that is coded to open a File Dialog boc to pick a picture to display on that particular item on a subform. My form is not based on query, but rather two separate tables (one primary, one sub). That code is working properly. How do I get that to translate to my report? I use VBA code because I use formats other than BMP for the pictures. Would basing the form on the qury that the report is based on solve the issue without...

When I open a certain report, it runs some code that generates the records
that will be displayed in that report. This works fine. When I go to print
preview the report it appears that the code is run again? This is causing
certain error problems.
1 Why does the code run for a print preview when the report already
exists?
2 What command do I use in code to find out if a report (or any other
object for that matter) is already...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
